We Dig AcTiVision
We're a DS and Wii family, and it's fun to play together, whether we're rocking the traditional board games or electronic versions. We get quality family time together and the kids have no trouble holding their own and frequently beat their elders. It's great to see my 9 & 11 year olds cooperating and helping each other with DS games on long road trips and during their treasured "screen time" after homework and helpful works are done.

Our generous friends over at Activision sent this sweet bag our way after Activision's Family Game Summit in New York. Last year we attended a live event in Chicago, but this year they streamed it to press and bloggers all over the country. The summit was full of great guest speakers, timely tips, and a crazy busy--lively--active Twitter community in real time. I was excited to again be in on the action.
Skylanders Giants for Wii, Trashpacks 3DS & collectibles, and Wreck It Ralph 3DS are all high up there on our 9 & 11 year olds' Holiday Wish List, so we'll be hanging on to and reviewing those.
