Former NBA Star Lamar Odom Found Unconscious on Floor of Nevada Brothel

Former NBA star Lamar Odom was clinging to life Tuesday after he was found passed out and frothing from the mouth on the floor of a Nevada brothel, authorities and the bordello owner said.
The Queens native, who checked in Saturday and had been partying with women for several days, had apparently been using an herbal substitute for Viagra, though it was not clear if the supplement affected his condition.
The 6-foot-10 former forward, who was married to reality TV star Khloé Kardashian for six years, was staying at Love Ranch Vegas, one of the establishments brothel operator Dennis Hof owns.
Kardashian is by Lamar’s side at Las Vegas’ Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center, a source said.
He is now in a coma with a failing heart and "serious problems" with his liver and kidney after being found unconscious shortly after 3 p.m. at the brothel, TMZ reported.

“This is serious,” Hof told the Daily News. “He might not make it.”
A Pahrump Valley Fire and Rescue Service ambulance arrived at the brothel, about 70 miles west of Las Vegas, at 3:34 p.m., the Nye County Sheriff’s Office said. Odom was taken to Desert View Hospital and stabilized.

Odom’s distraught father cried foul, according to reports.
“Somebody drugged my son,” Joe Odom told Hollywood Life. “There’s no way he’s down there partying crazy like that. No way. I knew something was wrong because I’ve been calling him all day and he hasn’t been answering. I’m depressed right now — this is messed up!”

He also issued a plea to his son’s ex.
“If Khloé knows anything about this, please, tell her to call me. We all love Lamar and want him to pull through this.”
Hof said it was the first time Odom had visited the ranch.
A source said Odom, who played high school ball for Christ the King in Ridgewood, had been drinking during his stay, but not much. A bottle of Cognac was still one-third full.
Hof said Odom had taken “upwards of 10 herbal Viagras.”
A brothel worker checked on him around 6 a.m. Tuesday and told Hof he was asleep and “looked fine.”
Around 3 p.m., prostitute Ryder Cherry and a woman Hof identified as Madison checked again and “there was obviously a problem.”
“He was puking a bunch of ugly stuff,” Hof added.
It was not clear if Odom was using other drugs. The two-time NBA champ reportedly had a $1,000-a-day crack cocaine habit in 2013, the year he and Kardashian split up. They divorced this year. Odom has two children from a previous relationship and lost a son to SIDS in 2006.
