School of Style, an LA and NYC based fashion school for aspiring stylists, is coming to a city near us. That’s right, SOS will be in DC for a two day pop-up class that will teach you all you need to know about styling. School of Style was founded in 2008 by Luke Storey, a wardrobe stylist who has worked with celebrities and music artists alike. Storey founded School of Style to teach not only the “fun” aspects of styling, but also the art of styling and the business behind it all. All classes are taught by Luke in conjunction with Lauren Messiah, a personal and celebrity stylist as well as a brand ambassador for the likes of Kohl’s and Marshalls.

Each pop-up class features a two day work shop that covers everything you need to know to start a styling business and they are happening in DC, Atlanta, Dallas, Seattle, Boston and Miami. The DC class is happening this weekend, 11 AM – 7 PM Saturday and Sunday at the Donovan House Hotel. I will be there as media: tweeting, instagramming and all the blogging like. I have to give credit where it is due as I have Jammie to thank for making me aware of the class and Alison for sending me the contact hook-up. I contacted School of Style directly and asked to be on the media guest list. Thankfully they said yes!

Interested in attending? Register here. I’m excited to absorb it all and share with you!

This is not a paid or sponsored post. I contacted School of Style directly and asked to be included on the media guest list. I did not pay for the classes, and am not entitled to what the paid recipients receive (bags, goodies, email list serve for internships, etc.).
