Woodstock, GA -- The FBI has released the identity of the second suspect involved in a five-state jewelry store robbery spree that also touched the city of Woodstock. The FBI Jacksonville Division said Monday that charges have been filed in a federal complaint against 35-year-old Lewis Jones III. Agents with the FBI’s Atlanta Division, who were helping their Jacksonville counterparts with the case, on Friday made contact with Jones, who “was in the company” ofAbigail Lee Kemp, the 24-year-old woman agents first identified as the suspect in the armed robberies.

Hoskins, 64, was sentenced to nine years in prison during a hearing Friday in Clark County Common Pleas Court. SYRACUSE, NY -- The president of the Syracuse/Onondaga chapter of the NAACP is facing grand larceny charges for allegedly stealing nearly $55,000 from CNY Pop-Warner Football and Cheerleading where he served as treasurer. Preston B. Fagan, 64, of 3901 Bufflehead Lane, Clay was arrested Jan. 8 after a six-month investigation into the missing money, said State Police spokesman Jack Keller. Keller said Fagan made 56 unauthorized transactions totaling $54,015. Fagan returned $33,000 of the money taken, Keller said. An Internet archive search revealed that Fagan was replaced as treasurer on the local Pop-Warner board page in August 2015. In addition to the former treasurer of the organization, Fagan is the president of the local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, according to the organization's website. Pop-Warner is a national youth football and cheerleading organization. Fagan is accused of stealing from the local chapter, according to State Police.

Five men took turns raping a woman in a Brooklyn park after forcing her father at gunpoint to flee the scene, New York City police said. The 18-year-old woman was with her father in a park just after 9 p.m. on Thursday night when five men approached them, police said. One pointed a gun at the father and told him to leave. After the father left, the men each assaulted the woman, police said. They fled when her father returned a short while later to the park, accompanied by two officers. The woman, whose name was not made public, was treated at a local hospital and released, police said. The video depicts a group of black men in jackets and sweatshirts talking and laughing inside the store. Police have asked for the public's help in identifying the suspects.

Huntsville police have arrested a duo accused of a violent robbery at McAlister's Deli on Perimeter Parkway. The accused are Omarious Labarrtrick Douglass, 38, and Marcus Cortez Coleman, 31. According to police, the two Huntsville men went into the store at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 2. They allegedly held up the store with a loaded pistol and a loaded short-barrel rifle, stealing $1,500 from the register plus employee's personal property. Sex crimes were allegedly committed during the robbery, according to police and court records. This resulted in sexual torture charges for both suspects. In her order, District Judge Alison Austin says, "The Court has considered the violence in the alleged commission of the offenses and the threats made against the victims; to wit, an alleged threat to kill a victim and the use of a loaded firearm during the commission of sexual acts against another victim."

According to Police Chief Gary Hefner, Melissa Anne Mitchell, 44, of Jonesboro was charged with 3rd degree sexual assault after she had been on the run for several months. Mitchell had “inappropriate sexual relations” in a recreation room of CYS. Mitchell oversaw several young male detainees during her employment at the facility. The incident was witnessed by several employees and customers, as well as captured on video surveillance. No bystanders were injured but the woman, whose identity is being withheld, sustained a non-life threatening injury to one of her legs, She was transported to University Medical Center in Las Vegas for treatment.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Two people have been arrested in a suspected serial robbery case. Officials with the Netro Nashville Police Department and FBI have arrested Christie Spears and 18-year-old Monray Johnson. Spears was in custody for several aggravated robberies in Wilson County. They were both suspected in grocery store robberies not only in Tennessee, but also Kentucky and Alabama. In some cases, investigators said a man believed to be Johnson would stand near a grocery store's customer service desk while someone called the customer service counter.
