Today I share with you a recipe from my friend from Germany! Granola is very popular in Germany under the name “müsli” or just cereals.

Ingredients
4 cups of oatmeal
2 cups of shredded sweetened coconut
2 cups of almonds
170 ml of good vegetable oil (soybean, sunflower, Grape Seed, etc.)
120 ml of honey
340 ml of small chopped dried apricots
1 cup of chopped dried figs
1 cup of dried cherries (dried currants or raisins)
1 cup of dried cranberries (dried plums)
1 cup of unsalted cashews (walnuts)

Preheat oven to 180 °C.
In a large bowl, mix together the almonds, walnuts, and coconut flakes. In a small bowl mix the oil with honey and pour into a large bowl. Mix it with a spoon so that everything is well wrapped.
Pour the mixture onto a large plate with an edge and insert it into the oven. Occasionally stir the mixture to be burnt. Bake for 45min.
Remove the baking sheet and let granola cool. During that time, stir occasionally. Add dried fruit.
Store granola in cold, airtight container.
