I travel for my job, so you'd think by now I'd have the whole minimalist packing thing down to a science. I don't. I still attempt to bring half of my closet.

Don't worry, I put half of it back. Maybe.

I have four planned workouts during Healthy Living Summit this weekend, so I knew that several workout outfits would be needed. One of the workouts is a Zumba class led by yours truly so I also had to pack my Zumba shoes in addition to my running shoes. That takes up space! But somehow, I managed to squeeze everything into my Zumba bag. I'm so proud.

In addition to beaucoup workout clothes, I added a few pretty and casual dresses, including my dress for the Friday night cocktail/dance party!

And then of course, shoes to match. Including the zebra striped shoes...

and my new favorite animal print flats!

I have a few of these old school blog cards, too. I have lots of ideas for new designs, and can't wait to see examples and get recommendations from other HLB attendees.

Of course, the iPad. Perfect for taking notes, and now with the Blogger app I can also blog on the go!

I always carry my own green tea bags, and a few packets of Activate-C (a Melaleuca product). Most restaurants and coffee shops will give you hot water at no charge, so it's a great way to save money while traveling (though the $4-5 lattes are always tempting, but pricey).

And I'm trying something new this year! I have so, so much zucchini from the garden, so I whipped up a few mini loaves of my homemade zucchini bread to share with others during the summit!

The best part? I use my favorite recipe, but no longer use vegetable oil while baking. Instead, I substitute the oil for applesauce! It's the easiest thing, it's a 1:1 substitution, no crazy math needed. Even better, I used the WILD HARVEST applesauce gifted to HLS attendees who participated in the better breakfast showdown! (WH is also a HLS 12 sponsor).

I'm so excited to head back to Boston for the Summit today! Stay tuned...I plan to do lots of live blogging and tweeting while I'm there.
