Research and plan a method to determine the molar mass of an unknown solid sample of a carbonate with the formula X2CO3
Include:
A step by step method (with specific details about how to ensure accuracy using the experiment)
What variables need to be measured
What equipment is going to be used
What is the uncertainty of the experiment
What calculations have to be made to determine the identity of metal X in the carbonate
I have absolutely no idea I am an AS Chemistry student and my teacher has given me this assignment to complete before I start class (I am starting sixth form this week, so I have not been taught about this)
Any help would be appreciated, even explaining what the actual question means
Thank you :)
