When singers turn into actors, it is a logical progression of their career. Capturing the emotions while singing on-screen would come easily to them. But it is really amazing when actors turn into singers. And some of our Bollywood actors are truly talented and donning multiple hats. Earlier, it was Kishore Kumar. But now we have quite a lot of actors who can actually sing.

1. Amitabh Bachchan
Aah! He has an immortal voice,. It’s hard to believe that All India Radio once rejected him when he auditioned for news reader and commentator. Today, it’s hard to miss his booming baritone. The Megastar has proved his singing talents in several films. He first sang Mere Paas Aao in Mr. Natwarlal. His Holi song Rang Barse in Silsila is simply a legend and no Holi party is complete without it. Main Yahan Tu Wahan from the movie Baghban was a big hit. Amitabh Bachchan has sang songs for several films including Mahaan, Toofan, Baghban, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Bhootnath, Mr. Natwarlal, Bbuddah… Hoga Terra Baap, Delhi-6, Aladin, Bol Bachchan and Babul.
He recently lent his baritone voice for Le Panga, a promotional song for Pro Kabaddi League. He even sang the National Anthem at the opening ceremony of the kabaddi event. The 72-year-old has also sung the National Anthem without any accompanying music, for a special music video on Republic Day earlier this year which is a part of his forthcoming film, Shamitabh. Amitabh Bachchan has carved a niche for himself even as a playback singer.
2. Salman Khan
Salman Khan is pretty talented too. The superstar not only acts and dances well, but also paints, hosts television shows and can sing too. Salman who is launching Aditya Pancholi’s son, Sooraj and Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty in the upcoming film ‘Hero’, has sung the title track of the film Main Tera Hero. 3. Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra is another versatile actress who sings too. Priyanka has branch into the music industry and has collaborated with big names such as Will.I.Am and Pitbull. Her first single, In My City, debuted in the US on 13 September 2012 which won her the Best International Debut award at the People’s Choice Awards India.In fact, she received three nominations: Best Female Artist, Best Song and Best Video (for In My City) at the World Music Awards. In July 2013, Chopra released her second single Exotic featuring American rapper Pitbull, along with its music video. Her third single, a cover of Bonnie Raitt’s I Can’t Make You Love Me was released in April 2014, peaked at number 28 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. also lent her voice for a music video of John Lennon’s Imagine. Back home, her debut song in Bollywood movie was Chaoro from MaryKom and recently sang a duet with Farhan Akhtar in Dil Dhadakne Do. Her first recording as a playback singer was for the song Ullathai Killathe in the Tamil film Thamizhan. Way to go, girl!

4. Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt is creating waves since her debut with Student Of The Year in 2012. She is another actress who sings. She sang Sooha Saaha along with Pakistani singer Zeb in her second film Highway. AR Rahman has been encouraging her to give singing a shot and apparently even said that Alia could be an accomplished vocalist if she is trained well. The young actress also recorded an unplugged version of Samjhawan for her movie Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
5. Shraddha Kapoor
The new kid on the block, Shraddha Kapoor is not just a pretty face. The actress proved her singing talent with song Teri Galliyan in Ek Villian, which touched the hearts of millions. Even in Haider she lent her voice in Roshe Valle.
6.Farhan Akhtar
Here’s another super talented and versatile actor who has donned many hats including producing, directing, writing, acting and singing. Farhan Akhtar sang all of his songs in his debut movie, Rock On!! And Senorita in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. And he recently sang a duet with Priyanka Chopra in Dil Dhadakne Do. Farhan has a 9-member rock outfit called Farhan Live and regularly performs across the country and has done some international shows too.

7. Ayushman Khurana
Young, talented Ayushman Khurana became popular for his song Pani Da Rang from Vicky Donor. For this song, he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer. He also Saddi Gali and Tu Hi Tu for the movie Nautanki Saala and Khamkhaan fromm Bewakoofiyaan and Dil-e-Nadaan from Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
8. Aamir Khan
Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood has belted out some cult hits like Aati Kya Khandala from Ghulam and Bum Bum Bole from Taare Zameen.
9. Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan’s singing talent was first noticed in Apun Bola from the film Josh. Later King Khan gave his voice for songs in Don and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
10. Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar’s skills are not just in the acting and stunts department. Yes, he sings too. Recently, he did a live song for his film Entertainment.
11. Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol
The duo sang Senorita from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara with Farhan Akhtar. So, yes, they can act, dance and sing too.
12. Madhuri Dixit
Oh yes, Madhuri sings too. She sang Kaahe Chedd from the movie Devdas along with Kavita Krishnamurthy and Birju Maharaj.
