Chase Resourcing, In association with our clients in the UAE have an immediate requirement for an Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, based in cosmopolitan Abu Dhabi.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs is the Chief Academic Officer of the institution and reports directly to the Executive Director of the University. You will act as the advocate of the faculty and will be responsible for oversight of all academic policies, direction, programs and the services that support them.
As an experienced academic director, you will be tasked with focusing the resources toward achievement of established strategic objectives and development of new directions at the university where program quality, enrollment, retention and student success are top priorities.

Requirements:
PhD educated
A minimum of 12 years of related work experience, with at least 10 years spent in a senior supervisory/leadership role with a record of progressive responsibility and authority
At least 5 years of academic research
Proven track-record in developing links with business and industry
Experience in developing course curriculum and assessment tools
Experience designing and implementing quality assurance and institutional change processes and programs.
Participates in the development of strategic plans, priorities and objectives
Ensures the effective implementation of plans within all academic programs
Engages in the recruitment and selection of staff
Manages a team of professionals and excels at building a strong committed workforce
Chairing relevant meetings;
