Believe it or not, I am (and still is) a huge Pokémon fan. I used to play it everyday (not kidding), the same way I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh, Red Alert and Counter Strike, but that’s another story. So, why did I suddenly divulge random bits of my childhood? Well, because this outfit, or rather, a part of it, reminded me of a certain Pokémon character, namely Ditto. I know, I know. You must be thinking, ‘Where is all of this coming from? Isn’t she supposed to be talking about her outfit?’ Chill! I’m getting there! Haha. Anyway, as I was saying, a part of this outfit (my necklace) reminded me of Ditto, a (purple blob) pokémon that can change into whatever shape it wishes. The necklace I am wearing above is actually a coiled bracelet, but being the person that I am, I decided to become creative and after some twisting and turning, I made a new accessory! I channeled Ditto and now have 5 more ‘new creations’ up my sleeve. Yeah, I’m weird, I know. Haha!
On another note, I dropped by Wrangler some weeks ago and saw their summer collection! The top I am wearing is part of that. They also have stripes (which is so trendy right now!) and other pretty printed items. Summer is all about color and bold prints but most of all, one should also consider comfort as a huge part of summer dressing. Wrangler’s summer tops are really light and breezy, which I think is perfect for the hot days ahead of us. I personally think looking good is vital, but being comfortable in what you are wearing is equally important as well.
