Hello there! I know this is almost a week late, but here is my year ender post for 2012. The reason why it took me so long to make this post is because aside from me over-indulging myself with my Christmas break (LOL) there was just too many memories that I hard such a hard time picking out which ones should be included in this very special post. Anyway, I won’t make this anymore text heavy than it already is so here we go. Welcome to a mini summary of my 2012!
I’ve accumulated a total of 40 (lookbook) looks for 2012. If you would ask me now what my favorite look is, I don’t have one. I started blogging about my outfits without knowing what my style is, and even if up until know I still don’t, I am proud nevertheless of what I’ve achieved so far. I’ve gone from all black and white to experimenting with colors and now occasionally donning two (or three) prints at a time. I’ve also gained more self confidence this year, a far cry from the wallflower that I was some years before. The top three fashion lessons I’ve learned this year you ask? 1. Mixing and matching is the bomb. 2. Never wear anything you are not comfortable with and 3. Always dress for yourself and never for anybody else. Fashion-wise, it was a great year for me!
As much as I am able to produce a decent drawing of almost anything, one of my frustrations is drawing myself. Thankfully, there are people like the ones above who gave the time and effort to make me the subject of their artworks. To everyone who made an artwork of me this year, thank you so much! No one will know how kilig I get every time I receive things like these! Thank you from the bottom of my fail self portrait artist heart!

November was a crazy month for me. Aside from my 20th birthday, tons of things happened as well. But with gaining comes losing, and my family lost a very important person that month. That person would be my Lola. Dear Lola, I know it’s too late for me to say this, but I’m sorry for all the times I’ve failed you. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us, from taking care of me and my little brother during the times when we didn’t have a mother, for all the teachings (even those that I sometimes ignored) and most of all, the unconditional love you’ve shown not only to me but to the rest of the family as well. We love you Lola! We all miss you dearly. We hope you and Lolo are happy in heaven! :)

Aside from my regular blog giveaways, this year I also hosted my biggest giveaway yet. I had one giveaway courtesy of one sponsor per day for a total of 30 days. It was an ambitious plan and it got very stressful (especially during the middle part) but after seeing all the positive response from you guys and the happy tweets and posts of the winners after getting their prizes, all the efforts from gathering sponsors to making the giveaway posters to picking the winners made everything worth it. I pushed myself to do a giveaway this big to in a way give back for all the blessings I’ve gotten this year and I think I did just that.
