So I've got an 07 SRT8 Charger that is making some really weird noises. I've only had it for about three months and it only has 35k miles on it.
I figured I'd post this here as opposed to the SRT8 section because this could be a broad sweeping V8 equipped issue as opposed to an SRT8 issue. Plus this section s a little more, we'll say, frequented than the SRT8 area.
Both of these noises are heard while in gear (R or D) and while sitting still like at a stop light. During this situation it is common to experience both of the noises I will mention.
One is a weird clicking/rattle from the front that I cant quite pinpoint. It only happens when the car is up to temp. I don't have to e turning the wheel when this happens but I can get it to replicate while turning the wheel or using the window buttons, oddly enough. Sound can be heard at 0:02and at 0:18

The other is a very faint toot or hoot sound. Kind of like the sound you would hear from a dove or owl during a late summer evening. I hear it when taking off, coming to a stop, putting the car in gear (R or D) and sometimes when I shut the engine off. There is also a weird ping sound, like a spring being wound too tight, when putting the car in gear. This can also be heard in the video while I'm switching back and forth between R and D. The video is dark and is mostly for the purpose of sharing the actual sound. Sounds start at about 0:05 and repeat every 5 seconds or so.
