It’s a full moon week. Full moons are full of tension, opposition and the potential to experience the balance of opposites.

We must be willing to be stretched in order to be well-rounded.

On one side, we have the sun, Mercury and Jupiter in Libra, the sign of harmony, beauty and partnership. On the other side of the zodiac, we have the full moon and Uranus in Aries, the sign of independence, courage, taking action and asserting oneself in the world.

One sign is about cooperation, coming together and finding common ground. The other sign is about the need to go it alone, flex our independence and find our way through the forest with nothing but our courage to keep us warm.

This full moon sits with Uranus, the planet of disruption, change, innovation, experimentation, chaos and the kind of creativity that we can tap into when we are willing to break from tradition and discover what lies beyond what has been set out in front of us. Striking a balance between what we personally need in order to develop ourselves as individuals and how to stay in balance and harmony with those we share life with is the struggle we are asked to engage with as we mature.

The days leading up to the full moon have equal ease and tension. Tuesday helps us to make plans so that the impossible can become possible with the conjunction of Mercury and Jupiter. Big dreams get broken down to make our mission clearer and more accessible. Also on Tuesday, Mars and Neptune sneak each other a sextile, encouraging the connection between what we believe in and what we do. Use this day to take compassionate, imaginative action.

Thursday’s astrology marks the natural friction that exists between Libra and Capricorn via the square between Mercury in Libra and Mars in Capricorn. Multiple squares are made this month between planets moving through these two signs, teasing out the action that we need to take in order to potentialize these places in our chart and life. On days like these we might be better served to drop a disagreement temporarily, unless getting our point across is more important than keeping the peace.

Mercury then goes on to make a stabilizing sextile to Saturn on Friday, but quickly gets embroiled in a losing battle with Pluto on Saturday.

Simply put, this week is rocky for communications and most likely full of really important conversations. Speak up, listen up and let go of needing to be right in exchange for being interested in developing your communication skills and learning something new.

The full moon is bound to punctuate the week with a revealing disruption. Stay tuned into your truth, no matter how wild the airwaves get.

Aries & Aries Rising

Saturday’s full moon is here to help you break from the traditions that keep you a stranger to your changing needs and desires. It’s OK to shift your direction. It’s OK not to want what you used to. It’s OK to outgrow what you have known of yourself. It’s OK to need new things in your relationships. Saturday’s full moon leaves no room for fools who fill your space with their unresolved emotional issues.

But Saturday’s full moon won’t suffer your foolishness either. In order to live with integrity, we must be able to balance our inner wisdom with the feedback we get from the outside world and intelligently and humbly decipher the difference.

Given the expansion happening in your interpersonal life and the strides that you are making in your career and public roles, Saturday’s full moon in your sign is here to illuminate your potential in all these areas.

And then some.

Don’t be afraid to do you differently. Don’t be afraid to shake things up. Don’t be afraid to find new ways of moving through an old situation. In fact, look for them. Look to carve out a few new pathways when moving between a problem and a solution. Experiment with the texture of your responses. Give yourself permission to be renewed. Give yourself the gift of getting to know something new about you.

Taurus & Taurus Rising

After the recent insights you have gleaned from taking flight, going on an adventure, exploring new territory or trying to make new plans happen, Saturday’s full moon asks you to assess the ground covered. Have you encountered a new perspective? Do you just need a moment to ground and come back to yourself? Are you ready to release something old in preparation for the new?

Make time for a little meditative reflection. Make room for more honest translations of your life. The light of this week’s full moon might reveal an aspect of yourself that you rarely get a glimpse of. Try to take in what you can. Knowing how you trick yourself out of growth will help you to take the steps forward in your work that are necessary right now.

Help yourself push past the laziness you might get trapped in from time to time by being willing to recognize where and how you stay overly, compromisingly comfortable. This week has the potential to shock you into a realization or help you creatively challenge yourself out of complacency and into constructive contemplation.

Gemini & Gemini Rising

Saturday’s full moon is the culmination of a week-long exploration into the nature of your most important social gatherings and networks. Saturday’s full moon highlights your need for reflections from you most important peers. It illustrates the dynamic tension that occurs between what you are working on and those that will applaud it, uphold it and help it move about the world.

We need both the strength to allow ourselves to explore our creative urges and the courage to let the world see our creations. We aren’t supposed to keep it all to ourselves. Be soft with your creative process and hard on the inner critics that tend to keep you from sharing it. Be wary of the folks that like to cause more drama than is necessary and the social situations that drain you of energy and enthusiasm for what you are doing. Stay on track with what you are making. Gauge its impact, relevance and substance. What do you need to add? What needs to be re-visioned? What do you need a little courage to put forth or get feedback on? A little constructive criticism can be tremendously enhancing to your creative process. Remember to keep your guard down with those who want to help you reach your potential, even if they challenge you a little while doing so.

Cancer & Cancer Rising

Saturday’s full moon ignites your 10th house of career. It might be time to break with your own traditions here. It might be time to make room for something new. It might be time to step back and take in all you have created. It might be time to gain a little perspective on your prospects.

Work projects will tend to get an unexpected boost so prepare yours ahead of time. Put them out in the world with enough time to let the full moon give them a lift. Work projects may also go through some unexpected twists and turns so make sure you have the back up that you need to get out what you must.

Saturday’s full moon is a commentary on the risks that you have taken and the rewards that they have brought you. It can also help you to challenge yourself to make the most of what you have been able to create through your career and your public roles. How can you take what you have and balance it with what you see is lacking in the world around you? Conversely, how can you balance what you need to do in the world with the restorative time you’ll need at home in order to pull it all off?

Leo & Leo Rising

While much of this week’s action remains centered on what you can cut down to bite-sized pieces and accomplish everyday, Saturday’s full moon pulls focus, asking you to think bigger and daydream in technicolor.

The full moon might have you setting out on an adventure or might just need you to have a clear one in mind for the future. Seek out what keeps your sights soaring. Hard work is much sweeter when done with purpose or a rockin’ reward in mind.

Those of you that are in school or any kind of rigorous learning process might feel like you are on the edge of a breakthrough in terms of the knowledge that you have been soaking up or in regards to what you are intuiting from what you are learning about. Keep taking in the information. Keep working with it as it comes. Keep following the topics that catch your interest and that help you to make sense out of your situation. Take in the teachings that help you to break new ground both intellectually and in terms of your own personal philosophy. Take your inner visions seriously.

This week’s full moon might help you to make the breakthroughs that you are ready to. Watch your dreams. Write them down. Get wise to the ways that your psyche speaks to you on a symbolic level. Be a good student of the information given to you on every level so that you can learn from it, revolutionize your life with it and make use of it in the work that you do.

Virgo & Virgo Rising

This week is infused with potential money-making ideas. There are visions for future financial plans that might seem to pop up out of nowhere. Pay attention to the ones that could conceivably be worked on. This week also points to the tensions that exist between what you’ve got to work with and what you might need to beg, borrow or convince others to invest in, in regards to your ideas. You might need to think outside the box with regards to who to collaborate with. You might have to give up on a certain idea in order to make room for a better, more innovative plan of action. You might have to put all that aside for a moment in order to tend to the psychological wounds that get stirred up when you invest yourself in projects that involve others.

This Saturday’s full moon highlights the struggles that can occur when trying to merge your energy with important partners. It can also highlight the work that is needed in order to have successful collaborations. Fear gets in the way of many an important investment.

Invest in what helps you with your own mental clarity. Invest in what helps you to psychologically sort out your debts from your more defining assets. Don’t let your fears about the past inhibit you from investing in your present. This moment is the place that you need to build from. This moment is your greatest investment. Do what you can to get clear about where you are and what inhibits you from being here.

Libra & Libra Rising

This week highlights the polarity that naturally occurs between you and others.

What does the tension teach you? What old relationship dynamics do you find yourself falling into that you are ready to let go of? What family dynamics are revealed as too repetitively rupturing to carry on any longer? What relationships are you naturally outgrowing in order to have a deeper connection to yourself? What usual ways of being now bore you?

Get tired of your old antics. Outgrow the chaos that keeps you caught up in unnecessary battles from the past. Get bigger than the behaviors that keep you circling around a wound. You are more than what hurts. You are more than the places in your life that keep you or have kept you small.

Don’t waste your time trying to pretend that you need anything less than what you do. Don’t fool yourself into thinking that anyone that you are deeply connected with would need anything less from you. Up your ante. Be all in. If you aren’t willing to risk it all with someone, what’s the point? If they aren’t willing to with you, why bother?

Ask to have the courage to outgrow the relationship dynamics that are not in your best interests and to be able to leave them with great ease and a self-loving #bye.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

Saturday’s full moon wants to help you make the biggest changes in the most practical areas of your life. What work projects are coming to a close? Which ones have inspired you to shift your focus around what you are doing on a daily basis at work? What revelations are coming to you as you tend to the work that you need to? What little changes in your schedule can add up to big improvements in your overall health? Sticking with the most basic tasks on your list will bring about the most insightful awakenings this week.

Do your dishes. Do your homework. Do your exercises. Do your due diligence and it will do you a favor. Not only will you feel on top of your game but you’ll most likely get some kind of revelation in exchange for your consistency.

This week’s full moon also reminds you about the precious balance of your physical energy. Too much time on the treadmill of life and you’ll miss out on the equally important process that is occurring beneath the exterior motions of life. After getting your business done, give yourself time to do what you need to replenish and renew you.

Sagittarius & Sagittarius Rising

There is an undeniable connection between your ability to charm your way through a crowd and your ability to help your bank accounts fill up so that you are free to fuel your creative projects.

Make sure that you honor Saturday’s full moon by putting your twist on your creative projects. Don’t be afraid to break the mold. Don’t be afraid to go your own way. Don’t be afraid to shock a few folks into paying attention to what you are doing. Truth be told, once they hear about it they will want to be in on the excitement, so don’t hold back your own. Lead with the fact that what you are doing has never been done before. If that sentiment doesn’t ring true for you, think about what to shift so that it could. Get inventive. Get experimental. Get out of the comfort zones that keep you safe but not engaged with your own growth.  Remember the folks that stand to benefit from what you are working on. Remember the generations that have yet to come that will continue the work further. Remember that what you have to bring, if connected to a vision for our collective good, isn’t yours to judge or feel shy about. It’s yours to share and see how it can be built upon.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

Saturday’s full moon signals a time to drop your anchor. What housing or family situation needs to be addressed? What cracks in your foundation need to be called out and accounted for? Which of your people has pushed you too far for your comfort or which of them needs to be handled with extra care and caution?

Saturday’s full moon might bring a little chaos to your home-front, like a storm that passes through your front door. It will most likely not bring with it too severe an effect, but what it highlights might be impactful enough for you to make important, if only subtle, shifts.

Make sure there is room for you. Make sure that you know how to fill in the gaps that family may have left. Make sure to make it your job to make yourself comfortable, safe and feeling like you have a place in the world. Make sure that you aren’t afraid to know the truth about a home or family situation. Make sure that you allow yourself the downtime needed because, right now, your plate is big and full and there is no end to the opportunities or the abundance of work at hand.

Aquarius & Aquarius Rising

Important career progress can be made right now simply through staying in contact with those that help you to stay in touch with your goals. Make sure that you stay connected to the people that inspire you to stay true to yourself, stay honest in your work and to always take the risks required to grow in the ways you’ll need to. Stay close to your teachers and their teachings. Stay in conversations that keep you thinking. Stay communicating with what challenges you to think about things in a new way. Stay woke to those that will only feed you compliments because they have yet to develop the ability to hang out with a little tension.

Develop the ability to sit with a little tension. Without making too much of it one way or the other. Without having to make it mean something about you or anyone else. Sit with the teachings that push up against your desire to back out of the more important but less comfortable life lessons.

Saturday’s full moon might make for some lively conversations. It might mess with your schedule. It might disturb the peacefulness of your plans, but if you allow yourself to embrace the breakdowns, they are sure to lead to some important breakthroughs.

Pisces & Pisces Rising

Saturday’s full moon challenges you to reinvent your resume. It’s playfully demanding that you redefine your resources. It’s shamelessly coaxing you into taking a completely new inventory of your value. What have you been counting? Which of your talents do you hold worthy of taking stock of? What natural abilities do you posses that you forget to factor in when you are looking at your assets?

You have talent to spare.

You need to develop it. Work on it. Encourage it. Be consistent in your attempts at bringing it into the world. But make no mistake about your ability to make a positive impact through your work. You were born with this gift. This is what you have to work with. This is what Saturday’s full moon wants you to meditate on and make the most of.

It might bring with it a financial surprise. An upset. An unexpected and helpful gain. Maybe a bit of both or maybe just a little light to see your accomplishments in this area and the possibilities that still persistently call upon you to develop them. This is a theme that stays with you throughout the next 14 months. The more you show up for it, the more your life’s calling will show up for you.
