2015-07-29

Its that time of the year when the culture and heritage of Terrace and surrounding areas come together to celebrate the August long weekend community festival.

This festival includes exciting Legion Parade and magnificent fireworks at the Ferry Island with concerts in the park at George Little park and a blast of beach volleyball.

Riverboat Days is an entire week to share the history, the culture and simply the unequaled natural setting around Terrace. So for 2015 encourage that child to join a crafts workshop at Heritage Park, sample delicious fare in the “Tastes of Terrace” tour, enter a team in the Men’s Soccer Tournament or join a walking tour of the downtown and learn some surprising stories about the area’s history. From quiet and reflective art exhibits to loud and fast auto racing, that’s Riverboat Days.
