Moberly basketball visits Mexico for an NCMC doubleheader Tuesday on Superstation KRES. The 7-5 Moberly boys defeated 5-10 Mexico 61-46 in the Macon Tournament third place game Saturday. Moberly head coach Mark Anderson addresses the quick turnaround.

Anderson and the Spartans own nine wins in the last 10 games against the Bulldogs. The conference doubleheader marks Mexico’s first home game in almost a month and a half. Mexico’s halfcourt offense remains inconsistent, but head coach Nick Bradford says defense is the Bulldogs’ primary concern.

Mexico beat Brookfield in the first game of the Macon Tournament before the Bulldogs lost consecutive games Thursday and Saturday.

The 6-7 Moberly girls dropped two tight games in the Macon Tournament, and the Lady Spartans surrendered a 24-point lead Friday. Moberly head coach Tony Vestal found one positive in the performance at Macon though.
