The current Missouri State Auditor would like lawmakers to give her staff more flexibility in auditing local governments. Columbia resident Nicole Galloway was the guest speaker at Thursday night’s Randolph County Democrat Club in Moberly. She tells centralmoinfo.com the auditor, in some cases, is not authorized to investigate financial problems on the local level.
