PEDESTRIAN AND RAILROAD SAFETY AT THE DOWNTOWN ORLANDO INFORMATION CENTER

Thursday, August 8, the Downtown Orlando Information Center (201 S. Orange Ave., #102) is excited to host two presentations regarding safety for both Bike/Walk Central Florida and Sunrail! Join us and help Orlando put its “Best Foot Forward” and learn more about Sunrail, Central Florida’s new commuter rail line during these two engaging presentations from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., at the Downtown Orlando Information Center. Stay alert with an informational rail safety presentation for pedestrians highlighting the issues of trespassing railroad signs and signals, as well as the dangers on and around railroad tracks from Project Director Amanda Day for Bike/Walk Central Florida. Keep informed with Public Involvement Specialist for Sunrail, Cliff Davis and Public Information Specialist for Sunrail, Jim Martin, as they create an awareness of changes to railroad traffic here in Central Florida as a result of the SunRail project. Additional information about the SunRail project will also be provided; lets have fun and stay safe Downtown Orlando!
