The Bhopal branch of Sant Nirankari Mandal organised a colourful Zonal English Medium Sant Samagam for the first time at at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan near Lily square, Bhopal. The variety cultural programmes based on spirituality presented by participants from all over the state enthralled the audience who came in large numbers to attend the show.
The Quiz based on Spiritual discourses of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj was the star attraction in which teams were named as Love, Faith, Peace and Joy. Anuradha Sheshadri was the Quiz Master and Resham was the scorer.
The other items which were greatly appreciated were group songs and dances. Saints from Jabalpur gave an impressive performance in a skit that highlighted the importance of English Medium Sangat(Saints Congregation). Participant from different cities presented their views in English on topics like-People are to be loved & things are to be used, Spiritual awakening is panacea of all mental diseases, Ego-the basic malady, Need for God knowledge, Behaviour and charater of a Gursikh etc.
Group song –‘we are one family’ presented by Bairagarh youth saints was specially appreciated by the audience. God realised Saint Dr B R Kashyap, Zonal Incharge –Guna congratulated the children artistes for their impressive performance. Dr. Kashyap said that Nirankari Mission is striving hard to establish peace, oneness and harmony in the world and for that it is essential to know more and more national and international languages as that would prove beneficial in better understanding of different cultures and bringing people from different backgrounds together. Saint Ashok Juneja, Sanyojak of Bhopal branch congratulated the participants for their wonderful performances. The programme was coordinated by Shubdeep Singh and Gunjan Bhasin. Bhopal Ems Incharge Deepak Sachdeva presented vote of thanks.
