Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Ever since Tina Fey’s 30 Rock went off the air in early 2013, I have been searching, desperately and unsuccessfully, to fill a hole in my heart. Fey’s new show, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, is the closest I may get to healing, and the entire first season is now available to stream on Netflix. I watched all of it. And while it never quite reached the peak-era 30 Rock stratosphere, there is enough, including Jane Krakowski playing a character pretty similar to Jenna Maroney, to make me feel nearly whole again. – Matt
Since last Friday, the first day Netflix unveiled all 13 episodes of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, I have not been able to get the theme song out of my head. It’s short, it’s autotuned, it’s so Tina Fey, who co-created the show with writing partner Robert Carlock. It’s hard to pinpoint the thing I love most about Kimmy. Some days it’s Ellie Kemper’s permanent grin. Other days it’s Jane Krakowski’s dead on one-liners as a rich UES wife who goes through bottled water faster than her botox injections. As of today, I’m halfway through the series and already lamenting the finale, but I’m so looking forward to “Kimmy Is Bad at Math!” and “Kimmy’s in a Love Triangle!” – Peggy
As someone who’s watched every episode of 30 Rock at least eight times, I was totally stoked when I heard the news that Tina Fey and her writing partner, Robert Carlock, were creating a new comedy for Netflix. Enter The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Though I still find myself relating more to 30 Rock‘s Sabor de Soledad-eating, Star Wars-loving Liz Lemon, it’s hard not to love Kimmy‘s titular character, played by the ever-so-cheery Ellie Kemper, and her infectious positive attitude on life. Cinderella
The movie is coming out on Friday and I can’t wait to see it. Lily James and Richard Madden look so cute together in the previews and my single heart is exploding. Who doesn’t love the story of Cinderella? This will be MAGICAL! - Jess
Sufjan Stevens – Carrie & Lowell
Sufjan’s’ first album since 2010 is due out at the end of March, but it made its way online a little early. I’ve already pre-ordered, so I felt slightly less guilty about indulging in a full listen. The album is very pretty, very sad, and very Sufjan. And let’s just say it is doing more for me than Madonna’s just-released, Rebel Heart, which I wanted to love, but did not. – Matt
Grimes’ Unreleased Track “REALiTi”
Grimes dropped the music video for her previously unheard track “REALiTi”, calling it “a demo from ~ the lost album ~, recorded early 2013,” referring to the Visions follow-up project she scrapped. To put it simply, the song is magic, as is her self-directed video. I loved Visions and would even go as far to say it was my favorite album of 2012, so “REALiTi” is filling my Grimes void and leaves me wanting to hear more of her unreleased demos. - Kaitlyn
American Crime
American Crime is an 11-episode series, developed for television by Oscar-winning 12 Years a Slave screenwriter John Ridley. American Crime tracks the fallout of family after family, following the brutal robbery of a young couple and a young man’s death. The show manages to examine contemporary racial politics in a way that is indeed interesting and compelling. This will be one to watch. – Michael

Though I’m usually team #Jelena, I love this #Zelena music video. This Selena Gomez and Zedd song is perfect for dancing around in your room (trust me I know because I have obv), and this music video is everything I could’ve ever imagined. How does one flip their hair like Gomez does in this video?! #HAIRGOALS – Jess
Matthew Weiner’s Mad Men Exhibit at the Museum of the Moving Image in NYC
Today I read that in just 67 days, Mad Men will be gone forever. After May 17, there will be no more new episodes of Don, Peggy and those useless but wonderful previews made up of mostly Jon Hamm muttering “WHAT?” In celebrating the beginning of the end (the show’s final seven episodes kick off Apr. 5), AMC has teamed up with some of the finest cultural institutions in this country for talks, exhibits and even a Mad Men themed Dining Week in Manhattan. (Drinks start at $19.69, commemorating the year of the final season). If any New Yorkers are going to check out just one exhibit, consider the one at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens. It’s got everything from costumes to personal notes from Matthew Weiner, and a Weiner-approved list of films that inspired the show. – Peggy
Aziz Ansari: Live From Madison Square Garden
With Parks and Recreation officially off the air after seven great seasons, Aziz Ansari’s stand-up special on Netflix couldn’t have come at a better time to fill the void. Touching on everything from street harassment to having your text messages ignored by your crush (two problems that are WAAAY too real in my life at the moment), Live From Madison Square Garden does a superb job of making you think — and more importantly, laugh — about really screwed up things happening in our world. - Gabi
Jess Glynne – “Hold My Hand”
“Hold My Hand” is another feel-good pop song from the princess of house-pop. You’re going to want to hit he dance floor upon hearing this song. You know Jess Glynne from her song “Rather Be” with the group Clean Bandit. he track follows her debut single “Right Here,” which had be success in the UK. - Michael
Meditations in an Emergency
Likely because I am excited for the final half-season of Mad Men to begin airing, I picked up a copy of Frank O’Hara’s Meditations in an Emergency, which was featured prominently in the second season of the show. It is a very good book of poetry, very powerful, and I say that as someone who generally struggles with poetry. – Matt
Miley Cyrus Instagram Shade
Miley Cyrus loves to mess with everyone on Instagram, and I love it. Her latest victim? Kim Kardashian. Cyrus posted a photo on Instagram of her pretending to bleach Kardashian’s hair. If you haven’t seen it, please check it out. It will make you LOL. – Jess
