Is Drake Bell making a career out of trolling tween girls? Seemingly so.

The former Nickelodeon star — who was recently caught telling a Justin Bieber fan, “I hope you die soon,” over Instagram — has confirmed that he was not hacked and that he indeed wishes death upon those who call themselves a Belieber. Bell, 28, previously denounced cyberbullying, but it now seems as if the adult of the situation is stooping to the level of teenagers.

After receiving more hateful messages from Bieber fans, Bell tweets:

So a belieber floods me with spam telling me she hopes I die soon over and over so I give it back and I’m the bad guy?! Kids need to chill

But this isn’t the first time the former Drake & Josh actor has instigated fights with the Beliebers. After Bieber was accused of attempted burglary in May, Bell slammed the singer for being irresponsible — and the Beliebers fought back to defend their idol.

“My fans are all pretty cool, you know. I’ve never really seen anybody fighting on Twitter, no death threats, no harsh language, no gay slurs, nothing like that,” Bell told Yahoo! Music about the on-going feud. “The floodgates were opened … and it was really interesting to see. It just perpetuated into me dealing with his fanbase which is really, really sad.”

Yeah. It IS really, really sad when a grown ass man decides to have online flame wars with kids.
