The iconic American brand will be the official sponsor this year with Jeans for Genes

Best known for it’s relaxed denim vibe, GAP has been announced as the exclusive partner for Jeans for Genes and they will be donating £1 from every pair of blue jeans sold leading up to the day which is the 23rd September. So denim fans rejoice because now you have the perfect excuse to dress head to toe in denim! And who doesn’t love a bit of double denim?!



A GAP spokesperson said, ‘We are incredibly excited to be supporting this year’s Jeans for Genes Day and look forward to dressing the nation in denim in time for September 23rd.‘

All funds raised on Jeans for Genes Day and via GAP stores will go directly to a number of charities that work tirelessly to improve the quality of life of children affected by genetic disorders.

There are over 6,000 diagnosed genetic disorders with an estimated 1 in 25 children are born with a genetic disorder – that’s more than 30,000 babies diagnosed in the UK each year.

Jeans for Genes Day is now one of the UK’s longest running fundraising events and has raised more than £40 million over its 21 year history.
