Yes, Carol McGiffin! TV presenter takes stunning shot during Thailand holiday
While many are back to work and slowly recovering from the overindulgence of the festive season, a lucky few are still celebrating with holidays abroad in much sunnier, warmer climes. The latest familiar face to make us all jealous with her pictures is presenter and columnist Carol McGiffin, who is ‘living the dream’ in Thailand.
Staying in Phuket with her fiancé Mark Cassidy, the former Loose Women panellist has been posting fabulous shots of her time in the sun – and she’s looking amazing!
In her latest picture she flaunts her slim figure in a black bikini – marked with ‘beach please’ – and it’s clear that she is not letting her mastectomy get in the way of a good time.

Carol, 55, was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2014, and is now in remission following six rounds of chemotherapy, 15 rounds of radiotherapy and a mastectomy last Summer.

Supportive fans wasted no time in commenting on how well she looks and how happy they were for her. Inspired fan @Nicksy200 writes: ‘wow carol you look incredible. I’m a mastectomy girl and feel inspired to get into bikini shape now! Xx’
Last February, she bravely revealed in an open letter that her battle with cancer and the had ‘taken away her self-esteem’.

She wrote: ‘I’ve always really liked myself but cancer took away my self-esteem and for the first time in my whole adult life I didn’t feel sexy.’
‘This was largely down to the way I looked. The change was so drastic, I didn’t feel like it was me anymore.’
But with these new pictures, it definitely looks as if Carol has come a long way – and we’re happy to see it!
