Julia Ling, born Xiao Wei Lin, is an American actress. She was born on February 14, 1983 in Southern California, USA. Already a talented person, she won the “Best Storyteller Award” by Chinese World News for storytelling when she was six years old. She started to be recognized when her artwork was highlighted in Pasadena Star News’ front page as well as in certain magazines. It was when she turned nine when she was seen performing solo dances in California. Later on, she was able to bring her iconic umbrella dance on TV. In 2004, she had her first taste of acting when she was starred for a guest role in the American TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She had other appearances in TV series which include House, ER, Grey’s Anatomy, The O.C., Chuck, and I Hate My Teenage Daughter.

Now how does she stay fit? Here’s what the talented actress said in one of her interviews with regards to her healthy lifestyle:

“I take lots of dance classes. Eat healthy, work out lots, be strong and never give up. Shin Dance Academy is my favorite because they have Chinese traditional dance, which is what I love the most. The teacher, Shin, is famous for being an amazing dancer. She’s also a great teacher. They have everything from zumba to ballet to Chinese traditional dance, which is what I love the most. I also tried surfing with compliments of Blue Fin Surfboards and teacher Lisa Tuttle. That’ll definitely get you in shape! You can burn 1000 calories easily!”

Her diet is not known but we’re certain that she’s following a healthy and balanced diet because of her toned figure and glowing skin.
