The awards show season is in full swing, and with the 2014 Cannes Film Festival wrapping up, the only thing everyone is talking about is Tarantino and Thurman.
The two mega-stars were seen walking the red carpet at Cannes holding hands, cozying up, and genuinely enjoying one another.
20 years after the pair first met and worked together on the legendary film, “Pulp Fiction”, and they’re finally together. Talk about a slow play!
The History
Tarantino, 51, and Thurman, 44, began their relationship together on the set of “Pulp Fiction”, where Quentin knew instantly something was different. Always in the background, Tarantino has, “loved her for years” said an insider.
Ever since then, Tarantino has affectionately referred to Thurman as his “muse”, always being the friend she needed. Uma Thurman, who was married to actor Ethan Hawke from 1998-2003, and then in an on-again-off-again relationship with two-time fiancé, Arpad ‘Arki’ Busson, from 2007-2014, was finally single in France.
Being a “great comfort” to her during her recent split, it seems that things have finally heated up between the two.

Love’s Been Waiting
The two recently had a chance to get together, and making an assumption from the result, sparks flew. The couple played joyfully with each other on the red carpet in France, even going so far as to give the photographers an impromptu dance recital, showing off their mad twist skills from “Pulp Fiction”.
Arm-in-arm, the two smiled and laughed their merry way throughout the proceedings. It is rumored the two even shared a villa together. But how could these feelings have manifested?
Uma explains it best herself when commenting in an interview with the Associated Press in 2004, “We’re really different people actually, but that’s what’s fun about talking to each other. We have very different perspectives. He’s a very extroverted, public person.
I’m a very introverted person. We’re just very different characters, but somehow or other…” she began, finishing the sentence with a shrug.
