Content Marketing
Content marketing is all about creating high quality content to naturally attract targeted traffic to your website. If you need more clarity then I think Copyblogger has got a perfect definition:
Content Marketing means creating and sharing valuable free content to attract and convert prospects into customers, and customers into repeat buyers. The type of content you share is closely related to what you sell; in other words, you’re educating people so that they know, like, and trust you enough to do business with you.
Today, content marketing is one of the primary marketing strategies of startup companies to attract targeted audience. The best example is, Buffer Blog. And here’s a sample blog post 30 Things You Buy That Are More Expensive Than Todoist Premium by Todoist Blog that instantly convinced me to buy their premium plan. Yes, Todoist is my favorite task manager app.

Landing Pages
A Landing Page is a web page, specifically designed for just one purpose at a time. It can be used for lead generation, could be a simple Call To Action that instructs the user to subscribe to a newsletter or to download an ebook, or to do something similar. It can involve images, videos, audio or just a few paragraphs.
Think of a golf course… a landing page is the putting green that you drive the ball (prospect) to. Once on the green, the goal is to get the ball into the hole. Likewise, the goal of the copy and design of a landing page is to get the prospect to take your desired action.

Conversion Optimization
Conversion Optimization is the process of optimizing the landing pages or the whole website itself so as to increase the conversion rate (or sales).
Conversion optimization is part art (listening to your gut) and part science (listening to the numbers) – it’s about making informed decisions and scientifically A/B testing your hypothesis to make your landing pages perform better.
It’s very important because when we make changes to a design we’ve to make sure that it doesn’t impact the sales or user experience in a negative way.
