Karnataka Exam Authority (KEA) is going to conduct Karnataka Common Entrance Test on 4thand 5th May for the students who are looking to get admission in different courses, say MBBS, BE,B Tech, BDS, BSC, B Arch, ISM & H, B. Pharma, and D.Pharma and others in Karnataka State. Earlier, the authority issued notification regarding KCET and students registered in huge number till the last date of registration which is 15th March. Now the registration is complete, the students are taking preparation to do well in the exam and they are waiting to get KCET Admit Card 2016 which will be made available from 15th April on the website: kea.kar.nic.in

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) regulates the entrance test for the candidates who want to get admission in the medical, engineering, agriculture or density and PGCET (post graduate common Entrance Test) for graduate candidates who want admission in MBA, M. Tech and MCA.
Candidates will have to collect KCET Call Letter 2016 from the mentioned website using their registration number, date of birth. They will have to collect admit card from online mode. No other method to collect hall ticket will be available. Even after the exam, the candidates will have to preserve admit card for future verification process. You can keep some extra copies for safety in you prefer.

KCET 2016 Exam Pattern
Exam will be multiple choice type and questions will be set on Mathematics (60 marks), Physics (60 marks), Chemistry (60 marks) and Kannada (50 marks). For medical students, there will be no mathematics section. Instead there will be Biology section. Applicants will get 80 minutes for each section. 10 minutes will be given for understanding the questions. So, they will get 70 minutes to answer the questions. Minimum of 12 will be required out of 50 to pass in the Kannada section.
KCET Result 2016 Expected Date
KCET Result 2016 will be published online and merit list of selected candidates will be published on the website of KEA. Applicants getting cut off mark or higher will be selected in the list and we will inform you about the minimum required to pass in our future posts after we get confirmation from KEA.

Physics section will include Measurement, Motion in one dimension, Laws of Motion, Motion in two dimensions, Work, Power and Energy, Linear Momentum & collisions etc. Chemistry questions will be set on Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, Redox Reactions, Chemical Equilibrium and Kinetics, Acid – Base Concepts, Electrochemistry, Catalysis and other related topics. Mathematics portion will include Set, Algebra, Probability, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry etc. It is important that the applicants take solid preparation according to the prescribed exam pattern and syllabus to do well in the highly competitive test.
Those who will be selected in the written test will be called for counseling process after which they will be allotted sits in their desired subjects/ fields. So, the exam carries immense importance with respect to future academic progress. Therefore, they will need to get prepared accordingly. Counseling date and notification regarding the process will be notified to the respective candidates in due time.
