Bonjour! For Jetti’s 4th birthday celebration, Brandy J Rammel (aka “Mommy”) of Pretty Plain Janes, whipped up a trés chic “A Day in Paris” Party for the birthday girl and her equally stylish, pint-sized party guests! Inspired by the French flag, classic Parisian fashion (stripes and berets) and a pinch of girly pink (party signs and pink lemonade) it feels like Brandy is taking us all on a trip to the magical city in such a fresh, thoughtful and playful way. Bon travail, Brandy!

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Brandy…
:

Initially we were going to go a “Poodles in Paris” route for Jettie’s 4th Birthday but somewhere in the planning we opted for “A Day in Paris” theme and I could not have been more pleased with they way everything turned out. The colors were focused on those of the French flag with just a hint of pink to keep things girlie.

Knowing I wanted to keep the girls busy for the duration of the party, I opted for 3 activities that kids of all ages would love. When guests first arrived they were seated at their very own painting station complete with personalized palette, brushes, apron, canvas on an easel and of course, a beret. After painting we had a little fun in a homemade photo booth. The giant French flag could not have made a more perfect backdrop and the girls loved the glitter foam paper props. Next we sang Happy Birthday and enjoyed the beautiful Paris city doodle cake. Before guests left they visited a DIY flower stand where they could choose a dozen buds of their own to take home. My mom even made an adorable personalized tote for everyone to carry their bouquets in.

I hate to play favorites with parties but this is definitely one of them. From the girls in berets, to the Parisian decor, to the totes full of paintings and buds I’d say everyone else had a good time as well.
