CCYHA Columbus Blue Jackets Special Hockey Program
The Special Hockey Program provides children and young adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to learn to skate and to learn to play ice hockey in an environment adapted to each athlete's level of physical and mental ability.
There is a Season Kick-Off Meeting and Pizza Party on Saturday August 23rd from 3-5 PM at the Chiller North. to learn more about the program and to meet the players/coaches.
Registration for the upcoming CCYHA Special Hockey Program is open on the CCYHA website. You need to register with USA Hockey first and then use your USAH confirmation # to register on the CCYHA website. (look for either Special Hockey or Learn To Skate Session 1 down towards the bottom of the list).
Registration will need to be completed by our first practice (September 13th) so your athlete can participate. Also, please bring a copy of your child’s USA Hockey confirmation print-out to either the kick-off meeting or to our first practice. I’ll be collecting them along with the contact sheets.
