Hi again, everyone.

Last time around we had a bunch of new features to cover (has everybody had a chance to check out Finalsite Training?) This time, the update includes a number of bug fixes and tweaks along with a few new toys.

Composer Users have a new element, "Personal Reports." This is very similar to a Portal element on the Page Manager platform; it allows site admins to upload "Personal Reports" (PDF files) and then display them only to authorized users. The Calendar Element also has a new view, the "mini-grid," which highlights dates of the month that have calendar events scheduled. Over in Finalsite Learn, Gradebook users will now be able to apply grade factoring or weighting to individual assignments. Also, Dropbox Comments will now be visible on the Safari browser.

Speaking of Apple products, we tweaked the Admin Login Page design to work on an iPad, for you mobile power-users out there.

Finally, Stripe is now available as a payment gateway. Contact Support or your Client Success rep to find out more.

Keep reading for the full rundown of what's new in Finalsite!

Composer

Implemented the "Personal Reports" element. This allows schools to upload "Constituent Reports" for each user, and make those reports available individually to students and parents. There's more to it, so contact Support if you need additional details on how to configure and use this element!

Calendar elements now have a "mini-grid" subtype available. This creates a small calendar (suitable for a banner, for instance) that allows users to quickly jump between dates on the linked Calendar element.

Corrected an issue with the Constituent element to ensure it would follow users' restrictions on data field visibility.

Fixed a bug that was causing pages to load incorrectly on sites with a Custom Search Engine.

Saving the settings on a banner will no longer generate a '500' error.

Constituent Manager

Fixed an issue with the data sheet uploader that was preventing student/parent relationships from being saved upon upload.

Corrected a bug that was forcing some users to update their passwords upon logging in for the first time when that behavior was not required.

eNotify

When creating Dynamic Content elements for eNotice Templates, the color picker will now work as expected both when selecting a color and when entering the he code.

AutoSave has been given a juice box and a cookie and promises to no longer save multiple blank drafts of a single template over and over and over and over and over....

Finalsite Learn: Dropbox

Dropbox comments will now appear in the Safari browser.

Teachers using the "hide until published" setting on the Gradebook can now publish Dropbox assignments directly from the Dropbox screen, rather than having to do it from the Gradebook.

Finalsite Learn: Gradebook

Teachers can now apply weighting/factoring to individual assignments, not just categories.

"LMS Admin" users can now see student grades when using the "Find a Student" tool, in addition to Reports and Attendance info.

Students from archived classes will no longer appear on the Dashboard > Reports screen.

Fixed a bug preventing custom term weighting from working correctly in the Gradebook Settings window.

Forms Manager

Removed the duplicate text entry area that occasionally appeared when setting the "Customize respondent credit card payment receipt message" controls.

Group Manager

Users will no longer see an error when clicking on the "Group Space" tab for a "Location" group in Group Manager.

iOS app

Fixed a bug causing a white screen to appear instead of a map.

Payment Manager

"Stripe" is now available as a payment gateway. This is very useful for collecting payments via a mobile device!

Fixed a bug that was preventing the 'Filter Columns' control from working on the Recurring Payment Plan Reports tab.
