 QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related discipline

-Minimum 3.2 GPA

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products

- Internship experience a plus

POSITION:  Technical Associate (Information Technology)

TIAA-CREF is offering a unique opportunity within our Information Technology (IT) department to undergraduate and post graduate candidates with a passion for technology.  Technical Associates (TAs) will be tasked with applying academic knowledge, technical skills and experience to create innovative solutions to solve real business challenges that the firm faces.  Opportunities include: application programming, enterprise infrastructure services (e.g., networking, end user computing, etc.) as well as architecture, risk and information security services.

 

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

The Technical Associate (TA) Program offers candidates an exciting mix of strategically aligned technical assignments, professional development and leadership opportunities and the ability to rotate through different areas of a fast-paced IT environment. Candidates can expect to apply technology principles and skills to real-world technology and application issues - gaining valuable, detailed insights into the industry, TIAA-CREF products and businesses. Rotational assignments will be employed during the 18-24 month program to build cross-functional proficiency and enable candidates to deliver the highest quality results. Permanent placement after the program will be based upon business need and the best fit for the TA’s skill set.

 

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
