Responsibilities
As a Software Tools Engineer you will be responsible for building tools to create a closed loop solution for our product suite, and enhancing productivity of non-engineering teams through automation. You will conduct research on emerging technologies and formulate processes. You will work with different disciplines and analyze and optimize workflow. As a constantly growing and evolving organization, this position will require you to train and mentor other team members.
Required Qualifications
BS in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent with a strong academic record
3 years of relevant work experience, including development and/or test automation experience
Experience with MySQL and other database applications
Understanding of ETL procedure
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Experience in MySQL and other RDBMS
Bonus Points
Master's Degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field
6 years relevant work experience
Excellent scripting skills in at least one common language (Python, Perl, Shell)
Proficient in a Linux environment
Deep knowledge of Kettle, Tableau
Strong background in Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS
Direct experience dealing with large data sets
