Software Test Automation Engineer – Rapid Response Team

We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and self-motivated Software Test

Automation Engineer to help us implement Selenium tests for functionality that

we identify as not have test coverage during the course of site issue/bug investigation.

You will work with the others developers on the Rapid Response team to

understand the automated testing holes that they have identified, and add the

appropriate testing code. Your duties will also include:

Understanding intended functionality

of various products and features across multiple sites

·      

Ensuring that the tests you create work

for all supported browsers prior to implementation

·      

Interfacing with other developers

and product owners to gather additional information about expected behavior

·      

Working in cross-collaboration with

other groups and teams on a daily basis

·      

Understanding our internal

development infrastructure and best practices

·      

Practicing Lean and Agile

development principles

·      

Staying current with technology and

test best practices and disseminating that knowledge to other development teams

within the organization

Responsibilities:

Design,

develop, maintain and extend the automation testing for a variety of CB

products

Develop

and maintain test automation framework, tools and scripts to support

product-based QA

Develop

automated testing methods to improve code coverage within each supported

product

Assist

other team members through mentorship, tutorials, and writing scripts to

speed up their automation testing efforts

Work

hand-in-hand with product owners and engineers complex issues where

analysis of data requires an in-depth evaluation

 

Qualifications:

Minimum

of a Bachelor¹s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

2+

years of automation testing experience

2+

years of experience in Selenium

Knowledge

with at least one object oriented language (Java, C++, C#, .Net, Ruby,

etc.)

Hands-on

expertise in writing software test strategies, plans and test cases

Knowledge

of test case management and reporting tools

Agile

and Scrum product development experience

Experience

with multiple browser-based testing, client server testing and mobile app

testing

Ability

to work independently

Excellent

communication skills
