Malaysian drivers can now enjoy tyres that offer good road safety, whilst enjoying a comfortable drivingexperience through Michelin’s Primacy 3 ST. The tyre manufacturer launched the ST today in Kuala Lumpur. The tyre is aimed at the D-segment cars such as the Toyota Camry, Nissan Teana, BMW 3 and 5 series, Mercedes Benz C- and E-class and other cars of that clique.

Primacy 3 ST is a strong contender in the local premium passenger car tyre segment, offering all the right attributes including comfort, peace and quiet, and greater total mileage without compromising on the quality of high performance tyres.”
The ST means ‘Silence Tuned, one of the main attributes of the tyre, to achieve Michelin’s vision of Total Performance. Four leading technologies were used in designing the tyre:
EvenPeak – tread blocks of different sizes were used to reduce harmonics and cut noise.
CushionGuard – flexible tread compounds, shock absorbent sidewalls and noise-filtering rubber minimize vibration
Stabiligrip and FlexMax technologies help to increase safety by bringing braking distance down by at least 1.6 metres in wet conditions when compared with its predecessor.
Another bonus is that tyre life has been increased by at least 25%, although the actual figure could be as high as 40%.
The Michelin Primacy 3 ST comes in 16” to 19” sizes and 205 to 245 aspect ratio. They can be purchased at all TYREPLUS and Michelin dealers nationwide and prices start at RM480 per tyre.
