JIPMER Entrance Exam 2017 is conducted by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) for admission to MBBS course for 2017 session.
Number of Seats: There are total of 200 seats
Puducherry Residents [UR-50, OBC-28, SC 16, ST-11, PUR-23, P-OBC-11, P-SC-06, NRI/OCI 05].
Under Self Fiancé Scheme [UR-15, OBC-10, SC-06, ST-04, PUR-07, P-OBC-05, P-SC-02, NRI/OCI 01].
Duration: Duration of the course is 4 years and 6 months as per the academic calendar of JIPMER followed by 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship.

Eligibility for JIPMER MBBS Program 2017
The aspirants who wish to fill JIPMER MBBS 2017 application form must have following eligibility criteria:
Nationality: Indian Nationals Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are also eligible to apply.
Qualification: Applicant should have passed / appeared for HSC (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English / Equivalent.
Age: Applicant should have attained 17 years of age at the time of admission or should complete 17 years on or before 31st Dec 2017 i.e., must have been born on or before 01st Jan 2001.
Method of Entrance Exam: Online based distributed object system. Single shift exam of 150 minutes duration (10.00 am – 12.30 pm) on June 04th 2017, Sunday.

Application Procedure for JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam 2017.
The interested JIPMER MBBS 2017 aspirants can fill the JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam 2017. Application Form in the online format from the website www.jipmer.edu.in
Applicants can register online with payment through net banking / Credit Card / Debit Card only.
An entrance examination will be conducted.
The mode of the exam will be online based distributed object system.
Application form and prospectus will be available in JIPMER and can be obtained in person or by post by paying the prescribed fee in cash or by bank demand draft (DD).

For General (UR) & P-UR: Rs.1200/- plus Transaction Charges as applicable.
For OBC & P-OBC: Rs.1200/- plus Transaction Charges as applicable.
For SC/ST & P-SC: Rs.1000/- plus Transaction Charges as applicable NRI/OCI Rs.2500/- + Transaction Charges as applicable OPH & P-OPH Exempted from Application Fees.
