About U-CEED: It is stand for Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design which is held to take admission in bachelor and dual degree courses at 10+2 level entry. This year, the IIT Bombay id going to conduct the IIT U-CEED 2016 at various centers for admission of design courses in IISc Bangalore, Indian Institutes of Technology Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur and Hyderabad. These institutes will be provided the master degree in design, visual communication, interaction design, mobility & vehicle design etc and Ph.D degree to candidates.
IIT CEED 2016 Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should have four years bachelor degree in engineering / architecture / design and interior design after 12th standard and Professional diploma in design or NID/CEPT or equivalent after 12th class.
Candidates also should have full time BFA degree & G.D art (five year program after 10th) with one year post qualification professional experience. Applicants also allow with master degree in art/science / computer application (two year programme after 10+2+3).

Note: Candidates will not be able to apply with three year bachelor degree.
CEED 2016 Exam Pattern:
The CEED 2016 exam will held in two parts. In the part-A questions will be objective type from MCQ, MSQ and NAT and part B consists of design and hand type questions. The part- A will be based on screening test. If the N number of seats available then approximately the top 10*N candidates will be shortlisted from part-A.
