SEBASTOPOL (CBS SF) – There could be a big vote Tuesday night in Sebastopol on whether or not to allow chain stores there.
The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports the vote follows a long legal battle with CVS over that chain’s plan to build a drugstore downtown.
The plan would restrict development of any business that has 25 or more locations across the country.
Critics say it would sent lower income residents out of town to shop.
In fact, there’s not a lot of support within the community for the restrictions.
