NEW CASTLE, Del. (CBS)–New Castle County Police arrested three individuals for drug and weapon offenses after they received information from a concerned citizen about possible drug activity taking place at a home in the community of Belvedere.

During the month of June, members of the Drug Control Squad received information from a concerned citizen about the diminishing quality of life of those living in the community of Belvedere due to illegal drug activity and sales taking place at home in the 400 block of Kiamensi Road in Wilmington.

Police immediately began an investigation and obtained enough information within the next several months to confirm the allegation.

On October 25th, a search warrant was obtained and was executed at the residence. When officers arrived and entered the home, Tyrone Anderson, his sister Chantel Anderson and David Lewis, were taken into custody without incident.

During the search, detectives located a digital scale and a clear glassine sandwich size bag that contained clear capsules and heroin inside a kitchen cabinet.

Inside a plastic bin next to the front door, they located 17 Oxycodone pills. Police also found a loaded .380 handgun.

Tyrone Anderson was also found to be in possession of $875 of suspected drug money.

During an approved administrative search of the residence by the Safe Streets Task Force, officers found a backpack that contained three magazines loaded with  .40 caliber ammunition,  .38 caliber ammunition, and .32 caliber ammunition, along with an empty magazine for an AR-15 assault rifle.

Anderson, 27, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of heroin, four counts of possession of ammunition by a person prohibited, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, conspiracy in the second degree, possession of oxycodone pills and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Anderson was arraigned and committed to a correctional Institute after failing to post $111,500 cash bail.

Lewis, 28, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of heroin, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, conspiracy in the second degree, possession of oxycodone pills and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was arraigned and committed to a correctional institute after failing to post $81,500 cash bail.

Chantel Anderson, 25, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of heroin, conspiracy in the second degree, possession of oxycodone pills and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was arraigned and committed to a correctional institute after failing to post $35,000 cash bail.
