Arsenal have been busy in the transfer window so far this summer, and look capable of mounting a realistic Premier League title challenge ahead of the new season.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has already added Alexis Sanchez, Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina and Calum Chambers to his squad, but despite the excellent additions, the Frenchman is still keen on making further signings, with a defensive midfielder key to his plans.

Meanwhile, the likes of Lukasz Fabianski, Bacary Sagna, Nicklas Bendtner and Chu-Young Park have left the club. Here's what else Wenger could, and probably should do before the end of the summer:

GOALKEEPERS:

Wojciech Szczesny: Keep

Golden glove winner last season, and one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.

David Ospina: Keep (New Signing)

Impressive new signing will provide stiff competition for the Arsenal goalkeeping position.

Potential Signing: Iker Casillas

Arsenal have been repeatedly linked with the Read Madrid stopper this summer, but when would he play?

DEFENDERS:

Mathieu Debuchy: Keep (New Signing)

The replacement for Bacary Sagna will hope to establish himself as Arsenal's first-choice right back.

Kieran Gibbs: Keep

Will hope to finally establish himself as an automatic choice for his club and boost his England chances.

Per Mertesacker: Keep

The towering German has settled at Arsenal after a difficult start and is now a key player.

Thomas Vermaelen: Sell

The club captain has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, and looks unlikely to stay at the club.

Laurent Koscielny: Keep

A world class defender who is a key man for both club and country.

DEFENDERS CONTINUED:

Nacho Monreal: Sell

Doesn't really seem good enough for this level, but may have to stay if a decent replacement can not be found.

Calum Chambers: Keep (New Signing)

Talented youngster who will hope to make an early impression on his new club, and force his way into first-team reckoning.

Carl Jenkinson: Loan

An England international who needs experience and game time, worth loaning out to see how he develops.

Potential Signing: Benedikt Howedes

An excellent defender who was part of the Germany World Cup squad. The Gunners may turn to the Schalke man if Vermaelen does choose to leave.

MIDFIELDERS:

Tomáš Rosický: Keep

Proved his worth to Arsenal last season, and has at least one more season at this level.

Mikel Arteta: Keep

Another aging midfielder who still has at least one more year in him, having impressed since joining from Everton.

Jack Wilshere: Keep

Has not developed as much as the Gunners may have hoped in recent years, but still a talented player with a bright future.

Aaron Ramsey: Keep

After a breakthrough year last season, the Welshman has established himself as one of the club's key players.

MIDFIELDERS CONTINUED:

Mathieu Flamini: Keep

The only out-and-out holding player in the Arsenal squad, will need to stay if only to provide cover.

Abou Diaby: Sell

The injury-prone midfielder has surely had his chance with the Gunners.

Francis Coquelin: Sell

At 23, his chances of emerging as a world class player are looking progressively less likely, time to move on.

Potential Signing: Sami Khedira

Arsenal fans would dearly love to make the German their latest marquee signing. Morgan Schneiderlin has also been linked.

ATTACKING MIDFIELDERS:

Mesut Özil: Keep

Has something to prove after an average first season in London, but undoubtedly a world class player.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain: Keep

Still only 20-years-old, and has an incredibly bright future ahead of him.

Alexis Sánchez: Keep (New Signing)

Gunners fans will not be able to contain their excitement as they wait to see the Chilean in action for the first time.

ATTACKING MIDFIELDERS CONTINUED:

Santi Cazorla: Keep

While he may not be an automatic pick following the arrival of Sanchez, he could prove an exceptionally talented impact player.

Serge Gnabry: Loan

Impressed in spells last season, needs to go on loan to a Premier League team to show what he can do on a consistent basis.

Potential Signing: Julian Draxler

The young German was heavily linked with Arsenal in January. A move for Douglas Costa has also been rumoured.

FORWARDS:

Lukas Podolski: Sell

The German will have even fewer first-team opportunities following the arrival of Sanchez, time to cash in for the Gunners.

Olivier Giroud: Keep

The Gunners only out-and-out first-team striker, has to stay for that reason alone.

Theo Walcott: Keep

Still improving, and had a potentially excellent season cut short by injury last year.

FORWARDS CONTINUED:

Yaya Sanogo: Loan

Struggled to make an impact last season, needs to go on loan to show what he can do.

Joel Campbell: Loan

Impressed for Olympiakos last season and Costa Rica in the World Cup, another loan looks likely.

Potential Signing: Jackson Martinez

The Colombian World Cup star has an impressive goal record for Porto, and could be an appealing option for several top European sides.
