Fernando: FC Porto to Manchester City

The Premier League champions have been keeping close tabs on the Brazil-born holding midfielder for some time now, with City coming close to agreeing a deal for the 26-year-old back in the January transfer window, only for the player to instead agree to extend his contract at the Dragao until 2017.

However, head coach Manuel Pellegrini is expected to return for the water carrier this summer though and meet the value of Fernando's buyout clause in his new deal with the Portuguese giants.

Adam Lallana: Southampton to Liverpool

The Merseysiders are expected to lure the coveted Saints skipper north to Anfield before the start of this summer's World Cup in Brazil, although the two clubs do still need to come to some sort of agreement over a suitable transfer fee for the player.

The south cost outfit are demanding a whopping £25m for their star man, while the Reds are understood to only be prepared to pay £20m for the 26-year-old, but either way, a compromise figure is expected to be reached shortly.

Diego Costa: Atletico Madrid to Chelsea

Another big-money deal that is set to go through before Brazil 2014 gets under way in June is the transfer of Atleti's prolific Brazil-born front man to Stamford Bridge, with the west London club having already met the full value of the Spain international's £32m release clause in his current contract at the Vicente Calderon.

Karim Benzema: Real Madrid to Arsenal

The north London club and Los Blancos have been locked together in negotiations for the France international for the past few days now as the Uefa Champions League winners prepare to free up space in attack for the arrival of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez at the Santiago Bernabeu next season.

And with the 26-year-old's current deal in the Spanish capital only having just over a year left to run on it, Madrid are keen to offload their highly rated marksman this summer rather than risk losing the player on a Bosman free this time next year.

Luke Shaw: Southampton to Manchester United

Another England international who is expected to leave St Mary's this summer is their young left back, with the Red Devils having already lodged a bid worth £27m with the Saints for the 18-year-old, with the player himself said to have begun looking for houses in the Cheshire area as a result.

Eliaquim Mangala: FC Porto to Manchester City

The in-demand France international was the subject of a failed bid for his services in the January transfer window, however, despite missing out on the commanding centre back at the turn of the year, the north-west outfit are still expected to reignite their interest in the 23-year-old this summer, although the mega-rich Premier League side may have to fork out upwards of £30m in order to land the central defender.

Alberto Moreno: Sevilla to Liverpool

The hugely talented new Spain international has been catching the attention of a whole host of big-name clubs from across the continent of late, however, it is the Reds who have been expressing most interest in the 21-year-old, with manager Brendan Rodgers now hoping to be able to seal a £15m deal for the defender before the start of the new campaign.

Filipe Luis: Atletico Madrid to Chelsea

The Brazil international has just enjoyed a wonderful campaign with the La Liga champions, so much so that the Blues are now hoping to be able to persuade Atleti to part company with the 28-year-old as the west Londoners look to find a replacement for the departing Ashley Cole on the left-hand side of their back four next season.

Mario Mandzukic: Bayern Munich to Arsenal

The Croatia international looks like leaving the Bundesliga champions this summer following the arrival of Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski to play up front in Bavaria in the new campaign, and with the Gunners known to have been scouting the 28-year-old of late, do not be at all surprised to see the player leading the line at the Emirates next season.

Marco Reus: Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United

New Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is said to be a huge fan of the brilliant Germany internationals, and as such the Dutchman is understood to want to make the 24-year-old one of his very first signings after arriving at Old Trafford following this summer's World Cup, although United will have to break the bank however in order to be able to convince last season's Bundesliga runners-up to part company with their blond-haired attacker.
