Some rightly pointing out others who have been up and down in the first season but then improved second and third.

Every good num 10 needs 2 to 3 players that make runs behind and sacrifice themselves! Modern game problem - Too many want to be a num 10!

Some very good points from the former Man United full-back, who is now arguably the best pundit in the business.

Too many have jumped on the anti-Ozil bandwagon so it's good to see someone speaking sense and discussing issues relating to the German international's first Premier League season in a measured and thoughtful manner.

For the record though the £42.5m hasn't been at his best of late only Steve Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and Luis Suarez have provided more Premier League assists this term.

Clearly it was always going to take some time for Ozil to adjust to life in the English top tier and Gary Neville makes some very salient points on the matter.
