Port d’Andratx

Andratx is a town which lies in Mallorca, one of the Balearic Islands along the Mediterranean East coast of Spain and is located on the southwest tip of the island.

Andratx is best known as the Port d’Andratx, a beautiful town surrounded by mountain scenery and a stylish marina, Marina Andratx, renowned world-wide for its numerous luxury yachts which moor there.

The commercial port which lies in the heart of the town is home to many fishing boats. Only a couple of kilometers from the port, there is the town of Andratx where you will see the famous 13th century church of Santa Maria d’Andratx which is worth-visiting.

The beautiful Paseo de Son Mos castle is also an interesting place to visit when you are in the area.

The Marina Andratx is also well-known among the visitors for its excellent scuba diving opportunities and numerous sailing excursions to visit the surrounding areas.

Sailing to the West, you will find the beautiful town of S’Arraco, Sant Elm which is famous for its numerous terrace restaurants overlooking the bay.

During a visit to the town of Andratx, you will have the opportunity to visit the famous fortified towers that were formerly used to repel the pirates and also the castle of Son Mas that was built at the same time and now hosts numerous paintings by Durer and Tintoretto.
