The trips:
LADY LIV will cruise throughout the Windward and Leeward Islands of the Caribbean during the 2011 cruising season. They can advise the closest starting point in either location, cruising a variety of the local islands. This flexibility in planning should make it easier for you to arrange your international flights to the West Indies, and any inter-island hopping once you arrive in the Caribbean.
LADY LIV’s crew want to ensure that your charter vacation on their sailing yacht is full of lasting memories, filled with fun, laughter, adventure and romance. Chartering LADY LIV means privacy just you and your family or friends, the people you want to share special time with! The itinerary can be flexible either follow one of LADY LIV’s suggested cruising routes, or create a unique one together with the crew. Visit the places that you wish to see, explore every little cove on your route — you are not going with the crowd. Or simply follow where the wind takes you!
They can advise on special events happening through the Islands, such as carnivals, music festivals, sports events, sailing events, even jump-ups and barbecues!
Accommodation:
The forecabin has a queen-size ‘V’ berth, next to a large hanging locker with an adjacent head and shower. Lady Liv has two aft cabins which are spacious with 6’7” headroom and 6’8” beds. For your comfort you will also find twin hanging lockers with ample storage space, ensuite head and domestic-sized shower.
You will be accompanied by LADY LIV’s owners, Bob Heffron, skipper, and Marion Mason, first mate and hostess. Both are qualified RYA skippers and have many years of sailing experience in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Indian Ocean. As your guides through these islands, they will provide you with a wealth of information about the area.
Your hostess/chef onboard, Marion, will delight you with a wide variety of delicious culinary treats during your stay onboard. Using only the freshest local produce from the Islands that you visit, you will enjoy meals prepared in European, Asian and of course local Island style. Fish and vegetarian meals feature often, and if you have any special dietary needs or requests, Marion will do her utmost to fulfill them.
