The Golf Management Australia (GMA) – New South Wales Division had their annual awards night at Elanora Country Club on Friday 18th September 2015.
Melissa Ellis, our General Manager, was one of three finalists for the award of Club Manager of the Year, and Melissa won the title.
Managers of Golf Clubs right throughout NSW were nominated by their respective Presidents and the award appropriately recognises Melissa’s achievements, commitment and passion in the performance of her role as our General Manager. The award comes with an all-expenses paid trip (funded by GMA) to the CMAA World Conference of Club Managers to be held in San Diego in February 2016. The conference, attended by 2700 delegates from throughout the world will provide Melissa with valuable up to the minute information on, and how to respond to, the opportunities and challenges that Clubs are expected to face in the foreseeable future.
