Greetings Junior High community members,
After School Presentations
The After School Program will have its FINAL Enrichment Class Presentations for the children attending After School classes starting May 12th through May 16th. Parents are invited to attend Montessori class presentations from 4:00-4:45pm and Primary class presentations will be from 4:45-5:45pm. The After School Instrument Recital will take place the following week in El Jardin with piano on Tuesday, May 20 at 4:30pm and violin on Wednesday, May 21 at 4:30pm. If you have any questions regarding After School and Enrichment Classes, please call the After School Office at extension 2341.
Sea Camp
Seventh grade students and their chaperones will leave for Big Pine Key on Wednesday morning, May 14, at 9:00 a.m. and return on Friday afternoon, May 16, at around 4:30 p.m. Please drop off your daughter at the Primary circle between 7:30 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. so she can store her luggage in the Primary Art Room.
Eighth Grade Retreat
Eighth grade students will be on an all-day retreat at Morning Star on Thursday, May 15. Lunch will be provided. Please keep them in your prayers.
Eighth Grade End of the Year Event
Eighth grade end of the year event is scheduled for Friday, May 16. The girls will walk to the Paragon Theater in Cocowalk to watch Disney’s “Million Dollar Arm” which premieres that evening followed by a delightful lunch planned especially for them at George’s in the Grove. Students must arrive at 9:30 a.m. in order to make the 10:30 a.m. showing. They will return to the Junior High campus by 2:50 p.m. for regular dismissal.
Feast of St. Madeleine Sophie Barat Liturgy
Carrollton students will celebrate the Feast of St. Madeleine Sophie on Wednesday, May 21, at 1:00 p.m. in St. Hugh Catholic Church. Parents are always welcome at our masses. But, because this will be an all-school liturgy, seating will be extremely limited.
