Greetings Junior High Community,
Last Friday afternoon, the Junior High students once again gathered in Meli’s Hall for another election process. This time, it was the students running for Blue-Gold co-captains that captivated our attention. Enthusiasm and spirit generated the room as six pairs of teams (three for blue and three for gold) announced their platforms by means of skits, dances and songs. We are proud to announce our Blue-Gold Co-Captains for the 2013-14 school year:
Blue Team Co-Captains Alexia Boulos and Daniela Uribe
Gold Team Co-Captains Maria Cortinez and Isabella Puig
We will gather together with the High School community to celebrate the Mass of the Holy Spirit on Tuesday, September 17, at St. Hugh Catholic Church. Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Please remind your daughter to wear her white oxford shirt. The Primary and Intermediate communities will be celebrating the Mass of the Holy Spirit the following Tuesday, September 24. Therefore, we will be able to accommodate for those parents who wish to join us in the celebration.
