Hey ,
Just wanted to get some inputs and opinions on TeamC's 1/8 ebuggy and 4x4 sct likes and dislikes.
Thanks,

cball,

There are only two drawbacks or Dislikes that come to my mind, as a user of the Team C brand for 2+ years, after 10+ years of using Kyosho and Mugen brands, among others.

1. Both the T8E buggy and TS4 sct have their own unique platforms, so they do not use the same or similar parts, like the Tekno and Losi brands do for their 1/8th ebuggy and 1/10th(?) 4wd SCT.

2. The Team C line is not stocked at every local hobby shop, but almost every shop has an HRP account.  (HRP is now the exclusive distributor of Team C, along with Racers Edge, Savox, and about 60 other brands.)

The Likes are almost endless, but I will list my top 5.

1. The shock materials and suspension designs on both models are awesome, so handling ability out of the box is well above average, even for a newbee.

2. The plastics are flexible, so less brittle in cool weather

3. The metals are all high-grade, so wear is about the same or better than most major brands.

4. There are many Team C factory options to choose from, for maximum performance tuning.

5. All Team C models have a lightweight / high-performance design, so you will likely never have to worry about dumping your batteries in a 10 to 15 minute A-main event.

For immediate product availability, Evolution Hobbies (evohobbies.com) in Tennessee is the closest stocking dealer online.  If you don't see what you need on their website, just give Jeff a call. Chances are he has it in-stock.  However, any local hobby shop can order Team C  from HRP Distributing and receive shipments w/in 2 days, from one of their 4 US warehouses.
