Responsible for the oversight and management of Corporate Security's enterprise-wide and disparate access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: as the function leader, manage the national security access system, the legacy security access systems and the complex security software improvement programs across all business units. Oversees the daily operations, maintenance, programming, modifications, and/or expansion of all security access control systems. Liaison to IT on security system matters, works with IT to correct, update, maintain, or revise elements of the systems. Handles issue resolution and troubleshooting with both IT and the vendor(s). Ensures software design meets enterprise-wide access control needs. Coordinates directly with the vendor and programming staff to ensure that new technologies are assessed and installed to meet continuing business needs. Recommends and implements procedures and systems for improved visitor control, employee identification, and the safeguard of all organizational facilities, equipment, materials and property. Continually monitors the operating systems for prompt follow-up to any irregular and/or emergency situations. Analyzes and develops technical and business requirements, evaluates criteria and makes recommendations for acquisitions of highly technical safety and physical security hardware and software systems and services. Monitors multiple security databases, extracts data and prepares a variety of analytical reports used to support business decisions. Monitors system operations, performs diagnosis to determine problems or malfunctions, performs software programming and development, and takes corrective action to maintain optimal systems operations. Applies a broad spectrum of physical and procedural security and investigative knowledge and experience into development and application of various security technologies and functional access control procedures. Serves as access control badge and card access administrator, as primary contact for enterprise-wide access control functions, and as the team subject matter expert for security system administration. Maintains accountability for enterprise-wide access control upgrades and integration. Maintains subject matter expertise in the most current physical security systems to include access control, CCTV, alarms, and other intrusion detection technologies. Using this expertise, will prepare recommendations to address future growth, keep systems scalable, and determine financial needs for meeting these requirements.

Requires an Associate's Degree or equivalent number of hours in a computer related program, 15 years related experience in security or law enforcement, 8-10 years' experience in operating highly specialized closed circuit TV, access control, intrusion alarm, and incident reporting software and hardware; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Physical Security Professional (PSP) Certification required (need to obtain within 12 months of hire), as well as factory certifications in physical security software programs; Honeywell certification a must. Ability to travel required. BA/BS or enrollment in a BA/BS Information Technology related course preferred.
