The*Metrics Sr. and Executive Advisor*is responsible for managing thelearningmeasurement and analytics execution for a business unit, using advanced levels of evaluation/measurement techniques and sophisticated analytics.

Provides consultation and develops and reports on recommendations for data related to complex, multiple, varied organizations. Data would include operational, financial, learning, talent and customer metrics. Develops measurement scorecards, standard and adhoc reports, and custom dashboards to link learning solutions to tangible business outcomes. Trains and promotes use of dashboards and other interactive publications to access learning and business related information.

Develops and articulates study findings to key stakeholders, and multiple audiences. Data mines, analyzes and interprets data, crafts actionable recommendations, and provides consultation to improve business outcomes. Consults with the business and L&D to evaluate needs, formulates the evaluation/measurement plan, selects appropriate data elements, determines and administers proper data gathering and data extraction techniques and methodologies, conducts analytics and advises end-users regarding correct interpretation and best use of information for value-added business results.

Identifies and reports major trends, exceptions, and key successes in the data, as well as implications on the business and recommendations for action. Works collaboratively with business units, L&D, and human resources to optimize learning and development outcomes to drive individual and organizational performance improvement.

The Metrics Sr./Executive Advisor is responsible for supporting the company-widelearningmetrics and reporting strategy. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

* Provides technical assistance and consultation to others in the use of data.

* Extensively uses the application of statistical methods and presents data findings to executive leadership.

* Determines and implements solution for data findings.

* Provides information found in data for continuous process improvement.

* Mentors junior metrics analysts and provides support to others as needed.

* Collaborates on maintaining and updating metrics planning and analysis tools and ensures metrics are aligned to performance goals.

* Maintains databases to track operational / business performance data at the individual learner level.

* Creates and publishes standard reports, makes necessary continuous improvement recommendations; develops ad hoc reports with varying detail for different audiences, as needed. Consults with internal clients to determine business need/feasibility for standardizing ad-hoc reports.

* Studies operational issues and devises best ways to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data that will translate business requirements into usable decision support tools.

* Leads the creation of valid, reliable, systematic measurement tools (surveys, interviews, focus groups, observation checklists, tests/assessments, etc.).

* Ensures alignment, quality, relevance, and depth of items on the data collection instruments.

* Partners with senior business leaders and L&D leaders to make improvements in process, learning content, classroom tests/assessments, facilitation, or other recommendations based upon data analysis.

*Metrics Sr. Advisor*

* Requires BA/BS degree in business or math related field and 8-10 years of data collection/analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

* MS preferred.

* Incumbent should also have a solid understanding of metric and statistical calculations and data consulting/presentation experience; knowledge of OLAP reporting tools required.

* Incumbent should be able to work independently and make recommendations based on statistical analysis.

* Incumbent should have experience and demonstrated success measuring at Kirkpatrick’s learning evaluation levels 3 and 4, with a focus on objective performance-based learning measurement using both business and learning data.

* Health insurance industry required preferred.

* Certification in process improvement and process control competencies, such as Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt preferred.

*Metrics Executive Advisor*

* Requires BA/BS degree in business or math related field and 10 years of data collection/analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

* MS preferred.

* Incumbent should also have a solid understanding of metric and statistical calculations and data consulting/presentation experience; knowledge of OLAP reporting tools required.

* Incumbent should be able to work independently and make recommendations based on statistical analysis.

* Incumbent must have experience and demonstrated success measuring at Kirkpatrick’s learning evaluation levels 3 and 4, with a focus on objective performance-based learning measurement using both business and learning data, and should have ROI measurement experience.

* Health insurance industry required preferred. Advanced Certification in process improvement and process control competencies, such as Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt/Master Black Belt preferred.

* Ability to clearly and concisely communicate and present analytical data to all levels of management.
