*IT Quality Control Advisor or Analyst SR *

The IT Quality Control Advisor will support the Multi-Channel Contact Center applications to perform test planning, test script development (including automation) and test execution. Develops testing strategy and master test plan to support testing objectives. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

* Perform test execution and capture results for system, functional, regression, load, and integration testing.
* Perform defect management for logging defects, tracking defect status, and collaborating with the software development staff to assist in reproduction and resolution of defects through closure.
* Provide QA time estimates on project activities and contributes to process improvement.
* Must work with management to define, maintain, and implement Quality Assurance and Software Development Lifecycle processes and policies.
* Application of software development life cycle concepts.
* Developing and executing test scripts, tests plans and scripts.
* Establish and maintain Multi-channel Contact Center testing process and methodologies.
* Support user acceptance testing.
* Create and maintain test cases and defects in IBM Rational Quality Manager and Clear Quest.
* Create / Manage test data.
* Develop and support existing and new test scripts.
* Complete projects deliverables within set timelines and quality standards.
* Interact with interfaces and internal groups as part of test support activities and new project implementations.
* Manages the relationship with peer in IT and business for system(s) supported.
* Plays a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of testing components.
* Defines appropriate testing methods to employ to assure developed product conforms to requirements and design.
* Reviews/Approves all project related test assets for completeness and quality.
* Ensures all applicable SDLC and testing processes are followed.
* Manages both onshore and offshore test execution resources for project under test.
* Accountable for Test Data Management, collection of requirements, evaluation of available data in repositories, ID gaps, and owns test data provisioning tasks.
* Working experience in Webservices testing using Soap UI.

* Understanding Test data requirements and automating the Test Data Extracts from Mainframe.

* Developing IMS Extract Jobs using JCL and sort cord.

* Good testing Experience in Database systems like DB2, Oracle, etc.

* Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; minimum of 5 years of testing and product quality experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
* Demonstrated ability to manage testing efforts for an application.
* Quality Certification, such as CSTE, CSQA, CMST, CSQE preferred.
* 5 years progressive experience/responsibilities in the area of IVR QA process, methodologies.
* 3 years’ experience with IBM Rational Quality Manager, Clear Quest or HP Quality Center.
* Must have the ability to write formal test plans that include a testing approach and detailed test cases that are clear and reusable.
* Experience with speech recognition.
* Experience testing IVR, Chat, Video, CTI.
* Experience with creation/utilization of automation scripts for monitoring & regression (Hammer automation tool a plus).
* Experience with testing and/or programming Telephony systems including PBX (Private Branch Exchange) and CTI (Computer Telephony Interface) functionality.
* Experience working with Call Centers and Call Center Management processes.
* Experience working with GenesysTM or Interactive Intelligence applications.
* Experience writing scripts and conducting load tests on telephony systems using the EmpirixTM Hammer Call MasterTM test tool.
