The*Talent Acquisition Consultant Sr./Manager* will serve as a lead in defining, enhancing, implementing, and measuring the Talent Acquisition diversity strategy. In addition, this role will establish best practices and process improvements and serve as the diversity recruiting, sourcing, and outreach subject matter expert for key stakeholders, HR business partners, hiring managers, and the Talent Acquisition team. The individual in this role will be responsible for positively impacting, monitoring, and reporting key engagement, outreach, and hiring metrics. This person will also work closely with Diversity & Inclusion team and Anthem’s nine associate resource groups.

Additionally, this role will be responsible for talent pipeline building in key areas of business aligned with our business and diversity strategies. They will maintain a strong focus on understanding the marketplace (labor market trends, talent availability, etc.). Partnering with recruiters and sourcers to consistently communicate the status of candidate pool and maintaining strong relationships with internal hiring stakeholders and external talent will be critical.

The preferred location for this position is Indianapolis in addition to locations within EST/CST time zone.

*Position Responsibilities:*

* Source candidates for select roles with a focus on identifying diverse talent through various digital media, sourcing channels , and local and national outreach efforts.

* Develop sourcing strategies for key job functions with a focus on increasing diverse candidate pools.

* Serve as the TA diversity lead creating, executing, and measuring yearly strategies to support company hiring objectives.

* Develop an effective pipeline of key talent available through both active and passive candidate identification, relationship building and tracking.

* Identify new diversity, veteran, and individuals with disabilities partners and resources

* Prescreen candidates by reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.

* Influence business leaders to participate in programs, events, and champion our external relationships with diverse organizations.

* Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates and search tools working within the organizations applicant tracking system.

* Work cooperatively with all members of the HR team as well as key stakeholders within various business areas to align candidate sourcing with targeted positions.

* Manage diversity recruiting career fair strategy, external partnerships, and in-house associate resource group weekly hot job listings.

* Establish and maintain deep and meaningful relationships with diverse (including universities) organizations.

*Talent Acquisition Consultant Sr.*

* Requires a bachelor’s degree; minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
*Talent Acquisition Manager*

* Requires a BA degree; 7 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

*Required Skills & Experience:*

* Demonstrated experience developing, executing, and measuring diversity sourcing and recruiting strategies.

* Knowledge and extensive past use of a server-based applicant tracking system (experience with the Taleo applicant tracking system is highly desirable).

* Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases.

* Strong influencing and results driven attitude.

* Demonstrated sourcing experience of passive candidates through internet, association and networking research.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and a variable workload.

* Strong work ethic, initiative, sense of urgency; proactive, ability to work within a team.

* Comfortable with change and passionate about digital technologies and talent identification.

* Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
